Welcome to the Chocolaterie Beljade! We make chocolate products from A to Z following traditional Belgian practices. We handcraft over 50 different types of fine chocolate and a dozen “different types of hot chocolate balls. Beljade also offers chocolate confection workshops for groups of all ages, and our ice cream parlour has nine different chocolate dipping sauces for your soft serve in the summer!


Miel Vallée Fleurie

Miel Vallée Fleurie is an apiary which manufactures pure honey and processed honey products, such as caramel, vinaigrettes, and much more. You can also pick-your-own raspberries and blueberries in the summer.


Microbrasserie La Captive Microbrewery

La Captive is a microbrewery established in Amqui’s former town hall and police station. The brewery has a selection of craft beers, gourmet menus, and an incomparable atmosphere. There’s even a performance venue on the second floor that showcases the best of the emerging music scene! Keep an eye out for our daily specials and our entertainment program.


Club VTT de La Matapédia ATV Club

A real heaven on earth for quad bikers, the La Matapédia ATV club has over 690 kilometres of high-quality trails so that you can explore the Matapedian territory and search out the best viewpoints! Lookout towers, suspension bridge, attractions and accommodation, there’s something for everyone, and there’s plenty to see and do for multi-day trips! The club also hosts the ever-popular Matapedian Quad Festival on Labour Day.


Albert-Lévesque Harbour

Val-Brillant’s harbour is the only one providing all boat types access to Lake Matapedia.
Sailors, anglers, and boaters will be won over by the tranquility and beauty of the surroundings. The sunrises and sunsets over the lake are worth the trip alone. The harbour is located inside the Des Bois et Des Berges park, close to the Des Bois et Des Berge campsite.


Site des Chutes et Marais

The Chutes et Marais site, where hundreds of salmon are held in a salmon pool for protection purposes, is a must-visit location on any trip to La Matapédia. An exceptional natural environment with interpretation trails, lookouts, a discovery centre, relaxation areas, picnic areas, and guided tours.

Pierre-Brochu Park

Located along the Route 132, at the edge of Lake Matapedia, this park has a lookout tower where you can admire the lake, boat access to the lake (dock), and picnic tables. Boaters can enjoy free access to the lake all summer long. Make the most of our existing installations for a snack break, to go fishing, to head out boating, or to simply just admire the lake.


Tournant-de-la-Rivière Park

This park is located on the Route 132 close to the Rivière Noire and the train station. Parking is available opposite the church, there’s enough space for caravans. The park has a children’s play area, picnic tables, water fountain, and a cycle path. The park also has a training circuit for those wanting a light workout. The park’s six benches form the training circuit. You can also admire two commemorative monuments.


Heritage Railway Station/Maison de la Culture de Sayabec

The Sayabec Station, a designated historical monument, was built in 1912. The station now houses the Maison de la Culture, which has a wide-ranging program. Several different activities are offered: La Caboose—a musical café in the basement, Le Cheminot, an internet café, artist and artisan exhibitions, a store selling local products, and shows in the Fenderson Hall—including poetry, singers, string quartets and guided tours.


Le Revermont Golf Club

The Le Revermont golf club is a fantastic 18-hole course located just two kilometres outside of Amqui. Intersected by the Matapedia River, players can enjoy the challenge of playing nine holes with completely different reliefs. We offer the following services:
