Take a stroll down this peaceful 1.3-km-long trail, and keep your eyes peeled, there are over 115 different species of bird to spot! There are several clearings where bird feeders and benches have been installed and you can take a moment to relax as you watch them go about their day.
Access and parking via the Rang Saint-Joseph in Amqui. Perfect for a short walk with the family.


International Appalachian Trail - Quebec GR®A1

The International Appalachian Trail in Quebec covers over 650 km of trails. It begins in Matapédia and heads toward the Valley and on to Amqui, before reaching the Matane Wildlife Reserve. From there, it crosses the Gaspésie National Park, including Mont Albert and Mont Jacques-Cartier, and then descends toward Mont Saint-Pierre where it follows the coastline from village to village to Forillon National Park in Gaspé.

The Bois et Berges campsite is located next to the Albert-Lévesque Harbour in Val-Brillant with fantastic views of Lake Matapedia and the Parc Régional de la Seigneurie du Lac Matapédia. In addition to its breathtaking views, the tranquility and peacefulness of the campsite’s surroundings will have campers relaxed in no time.

The campsite has 41 pitches and two ready-to-camp tents, one of which can be used in all four seasons.

The Camping du Lac Malcom campsite is located in Sayabec right next to Lake Malcom. Its enchanting location and friendly atmosphere will charm all campers! The campsite has a heated outdoor pool in the summer, a play area for children and several other services. Guests can also rent kayaks, paddle boats, canoes and stand-up paddle boards.
