The church of St Jacques the Major was erected on a hilltop in the heart of the village core Causapscal. First church of the village, architects David Ouellet and Pierre Levesque prefer the Gothic Revival style during its construction in 1910. It retains all the characteristic elements of this style, including beautiful arched openings warhead. Its interior is rich in wood is also one of the best preserved in Quebec. The Way of the Cross, the altar and part of a larger collection of vestments are the highlights of visiting this remarkable interior.

Open to visitors during the summer.

Mission of the colony of Canton MacNider, the inhabitants of Saint-Damase use the chapel built in 1877 to build the first church in 1917. Built according to plans by architect Pierre Levesque, the new church of stone is required by its façade dominated by a central bell tower and arched openings pierced with several simple and tripartite. The narrow nave with three aisles is supported by a series of columns forming arches decorated with elaborate patterns reminiscent of the great cathedrals.

The village of Val-Brillant in the Matapedia Valley has one of the most beautiful churches in Quebec. Second village church, it was erected in the years 1914-1916, according to the plans of architects Oscar Beaulé, René-Pamphile Lemay and Joseph Couture. The church of Saint-Pierre-du-Lac is a treasure of Gothic Revival architecture. She continues to impress for his workmanship and the advantages of its site while the high towers of its two towers dominate the landscape along Lake Matapedia. The fineness of the interior is surprisingly up to its roof and its whiteness. Casavant Brothers organ, opus 505, leads the church since 1919.

The mausoleum of the Cure Alexander Bouillon, historic monument, is a small religious building constructed in 1950 Catholic tradition. The stone building consists of a rectangular nave with flat bed wearing a gable roof rights. A slender spire surmounts the ridge. The mausoleum of the Cure Alexander Bouillon is located in a Catholic cemetery overlooking the lake Salmon, in the municipality of Lac-au-Saumon.
